Mother of Pearl Set (Japan)

I believe this is a mother of pearl necklace from the late 1960s. The clasp is a replacement. The matching earrings are in the shapes of daisies. The earrings are back with an odd perforated piece of thick white plastic. I've seen the necklace appear in an online shop, but never the earrings.
